Crown Preschool offers a 4-hour Summer Enrichment Program each year that runs from mid-June to mid-July, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  Also known as Extended School Year (ESY), the program offers exciting, age-appropriate activities for our preschool students, including arts and crafts, storytime, imaginative play, music and movement, learning centers, and outside time for games and fun.  The specific areas of learning and development the children receive through these activities include:

Literacy and language development:  Expression of self through language, letter and word knowledge, comprehension of meaning, and literacy interest
Cognitive development:  Memory & knowledge, curiosity & initiative, and problem-solving.
Mathematical development:  Number sense of quantity and counting, measurement, shapes, and patterning.
Physical development:  Gross motor movement, balance, and fine motor skills.
