Coronado Preschool

Welcome and thank you for your interest in CUSD’s Early Education Schools, known as Coronado Preschool.  Coronado Preschool fulfills the original vision for Coronado Unified School District (CUSD) to provide a complete education as a lifelong foundation for our community’s children. The curriculum integrates with existing CUSD curricula and combines it with learning designed to enhance cognitive development and establish the basic building blocks for successful education for 21st-century learners. The school serves part-time preschool students, aged 3 and 4, at two different sites in Coronado.  

 

Silver Strand Preschool is located at 1350 Leyte Road, Coronado, CA 92118 

 

Our classroom teachers are the California Department Of Education (CDE) Early Childhood Permitted teachers.  All preschool staff is required to maintain Early Childhood Permits from CDE. Both schools' primary focus is to prepare children for kindergarten and eventually graduation from Coronado High School and beyond. We are happy to provide families in the community the option of a quality early education setting in their own neighborhood.
